This beloved local establishment has become a staple for pizza aficionados and comfort food lovers alike. When you step inside, you might feel a sense of nostalgia with its retro decor, reminiscent of simpler times. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a gathering place for the community.
The menu at Pawtucket House of Pizza features a delightful selection of appetizers, salads, grinders, and, of course, their iconic pizza. The mozzarella sticks, priced at $7.95, come highly recommended by regulars for their crispy exterior and gooey cheese. Although ordering is strictly by phone and there’s no online ease or delivery service, the anticipation for the perfect pizza is part of the experience. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes during busy weekends, but as William D. suggests, it’s well worth it.
In a world dominated by chain restaurants and online ordering, Pawtucket House of Pizza stands firm as an unpretentious, family-run establishment that delivers quality food with genuine warmth. Whether you’re indulging in the classic pizza, enjoying a side of fried calamari, or reminiscing over a hearty grinder, this corner joint offers a taste of local Rhode Island culture that keeps you coming back for more.

We picked up 2 steak sandwiches, and 3 calzones. Calzones were a little pricey. I didn't care for the steak onion calzone. I'll stick with the sandwich. The buffalo, and meat loves were good.

This is an original RI pizza spot. It has the best pizza in Pawtucket. They are very busy on the weekends and usually takes 20-30 minutes depending on your order. You can only call in to order, and there is no online ordering or any delivery service. The decor is like going back into the 90s and I love it. The staff is family and friends that run the place smoothly.

Moved to Rhode Island 4 months ago and this is our go-to pizza joint. Great service and quality, generous, toppings. The place is just a corner joint, so mot much to say about its basic interior. But for takeout, I highly recommend.

This review is probably a little biased as I have been coming here since I was a kid and it is chock full of nostalgia for me. To me, when I think of wanting to get a pizza, I don't think of any of the big chain places. I think of this place. It's the perfect Greek style pizza in my opinion. Nothing here is fancy or gourmet, but I just love it. My favorite is their mushroom pizza. Yes, they use canned mushrooms, but it somehow works. I have had other food from them in the past, but not in years. So, I don't want to speak to the quality of anything other than the pizza. I can't really speak about the inside too much other than it appears clean as I always get my pizza to go. Staff is usually friendly. I have had a couple of instances where they may have been a little abrupt on the phone, but not rude. Certainly nothing I would complain about. As long as this place stays in business, I will be a loyal customer.

I placed an order at this Pawtucket House of Pizza recently, and overall it was a good experience. This location is fairly small but very clean, and well lit. They make good use of the space that they have. The one downside is the limited parking, this location is best for delivery or if you're on foot. The staff were friendly, organized, and prompt. The pizza was comparable to competitors but where they really shined was to mozzarella sticks. Overall a good experience and I hope they continue to thrive in this ever changing economy.

I grew up down the road from this place and when we are in the area still stop by. Picked up a meatball pizza and a cheese pizza last night before we headed over to the final fireworks show at McCoy. Pizza was hot and fresh as usual and was ready within the 20 minute window they had given us. I've never had a bad pizza from this place and hope they stay around and continue doing what they are doing.
